Andrew Metzger enjoys every role he approaches as a character actor, especially when it comes to musical comedy. Growing up in Thousand Oaks, California, he began taking part in productions at various theatre companies in Ventura county. Since graduating from Cal State University Channel Islands, he has had the pleasure of working across the United States with various companies and venues.

Some companies and venues that he has worked with are the Walt Disney Company, Musical Theatre West, VenuWorks Theatricals, The Welk Resort, Glendale Centre Theatre, Palos Verdes Performing Arts Center (Norris), Cabrillo Music Theatre, Plan-B Entertainment/Anchorage Concert Association, Sound Stage Live!, Candlelight Pavilion, Actors Repertory Theatre of Simi Valley, and the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, and Lythgoe Family Panto. 

He holds a B.A. Degree in  Performing Arts (Theatre Emphasis, graduated with Honors - Magna Cum Laude) from California State University Channel Islands
